Many people when wanting to believe the Bible, feel that they need to look for solid proof, that they can see right in front of them. Archeologist's have found many pieces of evidence but still people are searching for proof. Perhaps this film will give you more of a understand of what actually occurred during Exodus.
For more than 50 years, the vast majority of the world's most prominent archaeologists and historians have proclaimed that there is no hard evidence to support the Exodus story found in the Bible. In fact, they say that the archaeological record is completely opposed to the Bible's account. This view of extreme skepticism has spread from academia to the world. The case against the Exodus appears to be so strong that even some religious leaders are labeling this ancient account as historical fiction. Filmmaker Timothy Mahoney begins with the questions, "Is the Bible just a myth, or did the archaeologists get it wrong?" He decides to tackle this issue a deliberate scientific approach. After examining the details in the biblical text, he journeys across the globe to search for patterns of evidence firsthand. The result is the most in-depth archaeological investigation into the Exodus from Egypt ever captured on film. This scientific documentary's goal is to communicate the TRUTH of the Bible and help equip believers with defending their faith and the Bible.
The DVD features stunning animations and a cast including narrator, Kevin Sorbo (God's Not Dead, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys), interviews with leading archaeologists including Israel Finkelstein, Kent Weeks, and David Rohl, and guest appearances by Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu and Shimon Peres.
My review: First off I really like that this film is really historical. It takes us on a journey to determine whether Exodus happened or not. I like that we are given evidence. It does move kind of slow but if you keep watching you will stay interested in what is happening. This is a great film for Christians as well as non-Christians this way, both can see different views.

“The Bible is not a fairy tale. Every great story happened once upon a time.” – Once Upon a Time Storybook Bible.
With the popularity of fairy tales and Disney animation, and especially with the new release of Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast on March 17, Zonderkidz wanted to publish a storybook Bible and full -text Bible (Holy Bible offered in hardcover, and pink leathersoft editions) that would resonate with children and families who loved those types of movies, and loved reading a great story.
What Christian parent doesn’t want to tie in Bible learning fun with what their kids already love, but also have the opportunity to teach them that the real heroes and stories of our faith come straight from God’s Word.
The Storybook Bible is filled with 33 stories from the Bible.
Easter is fast approaching and to me it is important to teach Raelynn the real reason for Easter. At only 2.5 years old somethings are a bit much for her to understand so I love that there are different versions of the Bible that can help me in teaching her. Raelynn has really gotten into listening to me tell her fairy tales so It was great to be able to read her true stories that are captivating.
I really like that both of these books are durable, the hard covers are great especially for little hands and will last for a long time at our house. These are also great sizes she can carry each of them well and the Storytime Bible has large pages with beautifully displayed illustrations throughout to keep her attention.
I really like that the Once upon a time Holy Bible is written in New International Reader's version, I believe that this makes reading the Bible with your children easier as it is easier for them to comprehend. I love that the Holy Bible included illustrations as well. I do however, wish that the print in this one was a bit larger so that it would be easier to read.
Raelynn's favorite hands down was the Storytime Bible, the stories were shorter and the fact that they began with Once upon a time really got her excited. I love this concept as long as we as parents make sure to remind them that these stories are true compared to fairy tales.
I recommend you adding both of these to your children's library if you haven't already.

Growing up with tobacco fields in my back yard and living next door to my grandparents who taught me to love small town living this book really captured my attention and made it very relatable for me.
About the book: With the heart and humor of Fannie Flagg’s Fried Green Tomatoes and Rebecca Wells’s Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, author Marci Henna introduces you to the Cranbournes—a mostly lovable and undoubtedly nutty family who’ve had more than their fair share of hard times.
A beautiful blend of tears and laughter, When We Last Spoke tells the tale of sisters Juliet and Evangeline, who are dropped off by their Broadway-bound mother at their paternal grandparents’ Texas ranch in 1967. After their cherished father is killed in Vietnam, the girls are orphaned. Still mourning their son’s death, grandparents Walt and Ruby accept their role as guardians, only to be surprised soon after by another permanent houseguest’s arrival—Walt’s kooky mother, Itasca.
Fast-forward to the present, where the warmhearted home in which the girls grew up is now just a faint memory. The estranged sisters are in need of a good dose of Walt’s famous stargazing wisdom: “You’ve got to look real close. Pay attention to what’s around you in this life. You’re liable to miss something important if you don’t.”
Packed with plenty of quirky characters and hilarious escapades, this must-read novel also digs in deep to the things that matter most—family, friends, love, and forgiveness.
About the Author:
Marci Henna was born in Austin, Texas and lived as a child in Kenya, East Africa with the Wakamba tribe where her parents managed a medical research station. She later moved to the Hill Country ranch which has been in the family since the 1800’s and currently lives in Austin.About the Author:
My thoughts: I really liked how Julie was telling the story. It made me seem more personal to me. This story was charming and made you feel as if you were right there with the girls. I loved reading about their childhood unfold. However, I wish I knew more about why the sisters were estranged in the end. I loved seeing how much devotion and time Ruby and Walt put in to raising their granddaughters. It sure is funny how so many different people leave thumbprints on our hearts and make us into who we are. I would love for you all to read this book so I am giving one away down below!

I am one of those people who can get lost in the music. The one who finds enjoyment in finding out about new artists and Kari Jobe is a new artist to me. The Holidays have come and gone and tomorrow we start a new year. Alas, some of us may be feeling the effects of the holidays, sore throat, coughing and a scratching feeling. If you are having this issues, make sure you pop in Pine Bros throat relief, they really go give relief. I received Wild Cherry and their new Vitamin C Orange Flavor. The wild cherry is sugar free, so I was able to share with my father in law who has diabetes. I also really enjoyed the vitamin c orange ones as I believe it is important to get some vitamin c in every day.
Make sure you watch this video below on just how great Pine Bros is!
Right now they are offering four different flavors on their website. Those flavors include: Wild Cherry, Natural Honey, Licorice and Lemon Lime. These have a really great texture, they aren't too hard, too soft or squishy. In fact they remind me of candy, just remember they are not candy. These Pine Bros drops are made in America. I left supporting businesses that are local to us.
