The World around is really complicated and honestly we never really know what each day will bring. Kent Evans, has written an amazing book for those gentlemen in our lives. About the book: For guys, more than ever, it is a confusing world. Your GPS doesn’t offer any maps showing how to get to the point of wisdom — and who likes asking for directions anyway? But there are ways to get that guidance you need. The answers may be all around you, in the form of guys you already know. Wise guys. More experienced guys. Better-traveled guys. Could there be ways to tap into their invaluable knowledge without enduring dull lectures or taking pages of notes? Kent Evans has surrounded himself with these wise guys. They have shown him all the back roads on the way to wisdom. With a great deal of humor and an endless supply of stories, he wants to show you how to gather life-enriching truth from the guys in your own circle. About the Author: KENT EVANS is the board chairman and co-founder of Manhood Journey, a ministry that helps fathers and mentors build the next generation of godly men. Kent has personally experienced how the guidance of godly men can change the course of a life. Today he is blessed with a solid 20-year marriage, four wonderful sons and a fulfilling life – largely because of what he’s learned from other men. He lives in Louisville, Kentucky, and can be found on Twitter @manhoodjourney. My thoughts: This book had a really great layout and was really easy to follow along with. I think it is important to learn from those around you. My grandmother has always taught me that everyone has something to offer, that you can learn something of importance from each of them. We really should take the time, to listen to our elders and our peers. We may learn something that will help us in our everyday life or when we are faced with difficult decisions. This book, is really great for the guys in your life that are looking for guidance, or need some words of wisdom to follow. I am excited to be able to share a copy of this book with one of my readers, thanks to fly by promotions for providing me with this book in exchange for a honest review. This time of year, always makes me thing of renewal and things being made new. I normally read a passage of the Bible daily but I really have been slacking with my devotions and not making more time to discover things about God. However, know I can read my Bible and have some devotions built in. I have heard many times, that family devotions are truly important and I believe this. I believe that they can pull a family closer together. Now, you all know my little Sprout is only 1.5 but I believe it is important for her to heard me talk to God and to read his word, we even have special verses we reach just for her. I like that I can look through this Bible and read the devotions aloud, although Sprout may not understand me, she will begin to and when she does she can ask questions and we can do these devotions together. This ESV Family Devotional is hardbound, full-color edition of the Bible that’s designed to help families read, discuss and apply the timeless truths contained in God’s Word to their lives. The ESV Family Devotional Bible contains the complete English Standard Version text, along with 130 key stories from the Bible, that are fully illustrated and enhanced with gospel-centered devotions that highlight key Bible verses and provide your family with questions to discuss. I am so excited to be able to give away one of these to one of my readers! Check out below for more details. I am an avid reader and I read frequently to my daughter, I try to get in a couple small books everyday. However, this book is a little too old for her seeing as she is only 1.5 years old but I do plan on putting it away and keeping it to read it out loud with her. League and the Lantern is an Adventure style book that is aimed at readers ages 9-14. The book keeps you on your toes and the chapters often end in a cliff hanger wanting you to continue reading until, it late at night. As a 27 year old mom, I myself really enjoyed this book and I enjoyed Mr. Wells incredible adventure he takes us on. The main character Jake is entering the 7th grade and he has a plan to make this year the best, he wants to be a popular kid and to not be the oddball like he was in his 6th grade class. Of course, he is an odd ball and that is what makes him, who he is. Jake along with two other odd balls, are what make this story happen. They take on a huge adventure and thankfully they have those large iq's as they have to solve tedious problems to get to the bottom of the so called crime. Some great things about this book:• Inspires reading - Adventure series your kids will want to read. • Educational Value - 140 key vocabulary words hidden throughout the story, historic sites are part of the setting. • Moral Value Lessons in family, friendship, mercy and compassion. Lead characters are friends who are different races. Help Kids Operates on a buy one - give one campaign to get books into the hands of kids who cannot afford their own copies. About the Author: Brian Wells is a new juvenile non-fiction series created by a concerned parent who wanted quality reading material for his teenager. He has worked and produced 15 TV movies and this is his first book debut. I am so excited to be giving away a copy of this book to one of my readers! Growing up, I had heard a lot of things about being a Proverbs 31 women, and let's face it we may have been all taught different things surrounding these verses. Yes, I am God fearing and God loving and I sin everyday but the older I get the more I hope I can grow closer to our Lord and Savior. This book is helping me on that path and helping me to understand more,

Cassidy Star has been hurt and is going through a divorce, I too have been through a divorce so this was something that I could understand and I felt sympathetic with her. She moves back to a place where her Aunt left her a place full of good memories. A place where she can rebuild and not have to deal with any men. However, God has a different plan for Cassidy and surprise a guy she loved in her youth is her neighbor. While trying to rebuild the bed and breakfast, start a strawberry farm and pick peaches Cassidy adopts some goats and a dog that she feels both need her. During these book, her really cute neighbor helps her out and many occasions. They also deal with some cow hustlers. This book offers, love, suspense and a little bit of everything one would want in a great book. The characters are so life like and really become a part of your family. While reading this book I did not want to put it down and as a mom to a small child, I no longer can read for long amounts during the day so I would stay up late at night reading this beautifully written book. I can't wait to get the rest of her books and finish the whole series. I received this book from the Publisher in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. All opinions are my own.
If you are looking for some super funny coffee mugs for your family members check these out!
mom has two kids my brother and I. My brother has always been the trouble maker and well I have always just been me. However, my brother has still always gotten away with everything and is special. He is the oldest one, so I thought that this mug would be great for my mom's birthday as a joke. I should be the favorite child however! This is a 13 ounce glass mug. It holds quite a decent amount of coffee, and will surely become your parent's favorite cup of all. It is also made in the USA, which makes me very happy as I am happy to help promote and purchase from local businesses. It is a decent weight and very durable, it is also microwave safe in case you need to warm up your coffee. My mom will get such a kick out of this when she opens it up. Hannah Hall has created an especially cute book about our country, that is sure to engage young readers. This book is 20 pages long and contains sweet rhymes about picnics and fireworks. About cookouts and other family oriented things. This would be a really great book to read to your child on or around the 4th of July. The illustrations are beautifully drawn and are great for little eyes to make a connection. I love that it embraces God in the book and this is a book I feel comfortable reading to my child and would be comfortable reading at Sunday school. I received a complimentary sample of this book from book look in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I love doing devotions, I think my family did them off and on with us when we were teenagers but I decided that once my daughter gets a little older and can understand more, I really want to start doing daily devotions with her. So that we as a family can draw closer to Jesus. This Devotional is great, each page makes you feel like Jesus is talking directly to you. Many verses are included on the page and it offers a lot of references to the Bible. So far my favorite is the third devotion. These maybe for children but I also love the way that I can personally connect with these. The third one talks about how God's plans for us may be different than the plans we have for ourselves sometimes. This touched home for me because I am always trying to do a million things and that may not be what God has for me in store, at least that is not how it seems. At the beginning of the book there is also a place where you can write presented to and from whom. this is great if you will be giving this as a gift. This book is 368 pages long and is best suited for children ages 6-10.

I will be using my personal copy of this book for homeschooling for my little one! This is an amazing Bible for kids. It has a place where I can write to and from on the front page. It is NIV, so it is easier to understand. It highlights special verses through out the Bible. It has devotions spread out throughout the pages. I was reading some of these myself and really liked them. There are places for Children to write their prayers requests down in the back of the Bible. The Lord's Prayer is explained. It is intended for children age's 8-12 but I plan on using it before my child is that old in homeschooling, to read to her and memorize verses. I like the facts included in this book. This would make a great gift for any child, starter Bible or would make a wonderful edition for schooling. It is hard back and is very durable, I recommend using a special Bible highlighter if you want to highlight or make notes in so that you do not mess the other pages up.
